DETEX EA-500: This surface mount unit
blends with architectural decor and is easy to install with ordinary tools. This
low-cost, self-contained door alarm employs a 95 decibel, directional piezo horn
to warn of unauthorized use of a door.
When mounted to a door, the alarm triggers by internal switching caused by any
movement of the door. If wall mounting is desired, the alarm is triggered by an
external magnetic contact switch (sold separately).
FEATURES: Bypass key temporarily disarms unit; adjustable time delay from 5 to
30 seconds.
Can be used with a single of pair of door.
Lock cylinder not included.
Low battery alert causes alarm to "chirp".
Automatic re-arming does not depend upon user remembering to do it.
The EA-500 should last the life of the building when properly installed.
