ASSA ABLOY’s  Mul-t-Lock CLIQ technology is based on highly miniaturized electronics that are placed inside the core of a lock cylinder to give you a smart key.

CLIQ has all the intelligence to make the cylinder itself exactly that "intelligent". It permits high-security. It can accept or deny key entry depending on time of day or week. It can register all accepted and denied entries. It can terminate the acceptance of for example a lost key.  No other security provider can do this with a key in a lock that can also accept normal keys!!! 

The whole functionality is supported by the power of a little battery embedded inside the key. No power is needed or any special wiring in the cylinder. All these functions can be combined fully with the various mechanical coding systems used in the Group’s lock cylinders through out the property that the locks are installed in.
