AUTO THEFT PROTECTION TIPS

A professional car thief can steal your vehicle in about 30 seconds even without a key.  Protect your car from theft with a few
simple precautions:

A vehicle with an unlocked door or an open window is an easy target opportunity.  Always roll up your vehicle's widows,
lock the doors and pocket the keys when you park your car.

Always roll up your windows, including locking the doors and never leave a key in the car

• Never leave your car running without anyone in the vehicle as thieves are looking for such wonderful opportunities
• If you can shelter your car by parking it in a garage always do so
• Don't leave your vehicle registration certificate and proof of insurance in the car.  Always keep these documents in your wallet or purse
• Always park your car in a well lit area and not hidden
• Don't leave valuable packages and objects in full view.  Put them in your truck and hide them with a blanket if you have a hatchback
• When parking your car only give the attendant your ignition key and not all your other keys

Always contact the Police if you see suspicious vehicle-related activities that may help someone from being ripped off
